PDW has updated the Tesche Tires Australian Ridge Blade range for August 2026, expanding its 4WD offering across four tread categories ranging from all-terrain through to extreme mud-terrain applications.
The latest range expansion follows Tesche Tires’ Australian launch, which TreadTorque covered earlier, introducing the brand, its Ridge Blade 4WD line-up and its positioning in the local market.
Distributed locally by PDW Wheels, the updated range comprises the Ridge Blade X/T, X/T Pro, X/RT and X/MT, giving Tesche a broader spread of products across the increasingly competitive Australian 4WD tyre market. The range is also backed by an advertised 80,000km warranty, although buyers should check the applicable warranty terms and eligibility with the Australian distributor or their stockist when purchasing their set of tyres.
Four Ridge Blade Options

The updated line-up is structured around four different levels of off-road capability.
Ridge Blade X/T All-Terrain
Despite its X/T designation, Tesche positions this tyre as the all-terrain option within the range. The company’s comparison material lists muddy trails, rugged mountain roads, snow and ice among its intended applications, with features including Infinite Nylon Belt Wrapping and UTTER SHIELD technology.
Australian sizes listed in the August update are:
- LT265/65R17 120/117S
- LT265/70R17 121/118S
- LT285/70R17 121/118R
- LT265/65R18 121/118Q
Ridge Blade X/T Pro Extreme All-Terrain
The X/T Pro moves further towards the aggressive end of the all-terrain category. Tesche describes it as an “Advanced All-Terrain” intended for drivers wanting a combination of on-road and more serious off-road capability.
The company highlights a high-visibility shoulder design and what it calls “Advanced Quiet Tech”, with its supplied material quoting 60 to 65 dB. The document does not explain the testing methodology behind that noise figure, so it should be treated as a manufacturer claim rather than an independently comparable tyre noise result.
Available sizes listed are:
- LT315/75R16 127/124R
- LT265/70R17 121/118S
- LT315/70R17 126/123Q
- LT285/65R18 125/122Q
- 33×12.50R20LT 119Q
Ridge Blade X/RT Rugged Terrain
Sitting between the all-terrain and mud-terrain categories is the Ridge Blade X/RT.
Tesche describes the tyre as designed to bridge the gap between A/T and M/T capability. The X/RT is also identified in the range update as a 2025 Red Dot winner, giving the tyre an additional design credential within the range.
Seven sizes are currently listed:
- LT265/65R17 121/118Q
- LT265/70R17 121/118Q
- LT285/70R17 121/118Q
- LT265/65R18 121/118Q
- 33×12.50R17LT 121Q
- 35×12.50R17LT 121Q
- 35×12.50R22LT 121Q
Ridge Blade X/MT Mud Terrain
At the most aggressive end of the line-up is the Ridge Blade X/MT, classified by Tesche as an Extreme Mud Terrain.
It is aimed at applications including heavy mud, rock crawling and logging trails. Tesche lists its “Viking Tomahawk” 3D tread pattern and “BAJA COMMANDER” compound among the tyre’s key features.
The initial Australian size range comprises:
- LT265/70R17 126/123K
- LT285/70R17 130/127K
- 33×12.50R17LT 124K
- 35×12.50R17LT 128K
Tesche indicates that additional X/MT sizes are coming.
Australian Range Takes Shape
The update is significant because it gives Tesche a relatively clear four-step product structure for Australian 4WD buyers.
Rather than attempting to cover the market with a single all-terrain and mud-terrain product, the Ridge Blade range progressively moves from the X/T all-terrain through the more aggressive X/T Pro and X/RT before reaching the X/MT.
That distinction is increasingly relevant in the Australian replacement market. “All-terrain” now covers a very broad spectrum of tread designs, while rugged-terrain or hybrid tyres have established a position for owners wanting a more aggressive appearance and greater off-road bias without immediately moving to a full mud-terrain pattern.
The sizes listed by PDW also concentrate heavily on common modified 4WD fitments, including 265/70R17, 285/70R17 and 35-inch options.
Tesche’s updated range therefore appears targeted squarely at the enthusiast and modified 4WD segment, where tyre choice is often as much about intended terrain and vehicle setup as simply replacing the original equipment tyre.
PDW Wheels is listed as the official Australian distributor for Tesche Tires. The August 2026 range sheet states that more sizes are expected to be added to the range.
