Continental Secures Multi-Tyre OE Package for New Audi A6
Continental has been confirmed as an original equipment supplier for the latest Audi A6, delivering a multi-product tyre package that caters to both efficiency-focused and performance-oriented drivers.

For everyday driving and energy efficiency, Audi is fitting the Continental EcoContact 6 Q as a primary option. This tyre is engineered to reduce rolling resistance through a specialised compound and tread design, helping to improve energy consumption and extend driving range, particularly relevant for electrified variants of the A6. At the same time, noise levels are kept low, supporting a quieter and more refined driving experience without compromising safety.
Drivers seeking a more dynamic setup will have access to the Continental SportContact 7. Positioned as a high-performance option, this tyre is designed to deliver strong grip, responsive handling and shorter braking distances across both wet and dry conditions. Its construction also supports stability at higher speeds, aligning with the A6’s positioning as a premium performance sedan. The SportContact 7 has also performed strongly in independent testing, earning recognition for its balance of control and braking performance.
The approved OE fitments for the new Audi A6 span multiple sizes and specifications, including:
- EcoContact 6 Q Silent – 255/40 R20 101Y XL
- EcoContact 6 Q Silent – 255/35 R21 101Y HL
- SportContact 7 Silent – 255/40 R20 101Y XL

From the press information it seems like the Continental shares fitment on the vehicle lineup with Michelin as both the e-tron and Avant models showcase Michelin tyres in the press photos.
